European Regional Rounds

Each year, universities in Europe are invited to participate in the IASLA Space Law Moot Court Competition, organised by the International Air and Space Law Academy.

The 2018 European Regional Rounds will be held from Monday, 9 April 2018 to Thursday, 12 April 2018 in Cambridge, United Kingdom. Teams compete in 4 preliminary rounds in a round-robin format before advancing to the Regional Finals. The Regional Champions will then advance to the International Finals, scheduled for Thursday, 28 June 2018 to Friday, 29 June 2018 in Washington, D.C., United States of America.

In order to participate, all you need is 2 to 4 students that want to expand their knowledge in space law and gain valuable experience in international mooting. While knowledge of space law may be an asset, we have found that teams without prior training and experience in space law or even lacking in coaches have been very competitive in space law moot court competitions.
